Restorations has started with the new tool and I will be doing them in small chunks till next week. We are only restoring individuals which have updated their password before today. This system is also completely accurate and some people may get less or extra items and also some people may be missed. After the first restoration has been completed we will look into restoring individuals that were missed. We will use the same method we are using for this initial restoration.
Also, not everyone will be restored, it depends on if we find you case to be true or not after investigation which does take time. If you do receive a restoration from us, you will receive a letter from the KOL Team. The contents of the letter will say:
You may have lost this item due to an account compromise. We have restored this item to your account.
We will never ask you to visit a site or ask for account or personal information. Please ignore such letters if you receive them, as they are usually related to phishing attempts.
Additionally, please do not submit tickets for account restorations till we confirm restorations has been completed.
