Introduction for the Asmodian in Aion
It was not always like this. At one time the two sides of Aion Gold were as one, we were united as brothers. We looked the same, we had the same ideals and we shared a common purpose, to protect the tower of eternity in aion. When they failed, they destroyed everything. Our world, our people were ripped apart.
In the lower half of this world, you will find a shallow, yet charmed existence tempered with sin, greed and gluttony, misplaced pride and crushing arrogance. Here you will find the Elyose, a despicable breed of creature whose soulless existent is devoted to decimating everything that is good in this world. Do not be fooled by their saintly appearance, beneath that pallid skin lays nothing but darkness.
The upper half of this world is where we, the Asmodians, call home. After the Epic Cataclysm we were thrust into darkness, into the unknown, and we had no other choice than to adapt and to survive. Each and every day our world taught us something new, opened our eyes to new possibilities and gave us the unwavering strength to rebuild our lives once again. It is through our experiences that we have achieved so much, it is not every day you are given the opportunity to start over, to right your wrongs.
After all that has happened in our world. I feel it is my duty to set the record straight about the event that bring us here to this very day. I have written this diary to recount the years that led to our current standing, maybe you will come to understand what caused this world of ours to change so.
