Empyrean Calling introduces the new mentor system to Aion.
Greetings Daevas!
With our 2.5 update, Empyrean Calling, we are pleased to bring you an updated Adventurer's Guide as well as two special quest related survey events involving new 2.5 content.
Updated Adventurer's Guide
The Adventurer's Guide consists of surveys which give hints on how to use new areas or systems as you level; it also delivers an item to assist the player at that specific level range. The updated Adventurer's Guide will introduce new surveys across a broader range of levels as well as include updated items. Our current Adventurers Guide will be removed from our game on Tuesday May 24, 2011.
Enter the Crucible!
Challenge your limits in the Empyrean Crucible! Through the "Enter the Crucible" event, players can take a glorious step towards claiming the new Crucible weapons and armor. Players which complete the third quest for stage five will receive a one-time bonus survey of the TAC NCO boots! The third quests needed for this achievement are "Keep on Driving Me Higher" for Elyos players and "The Student Becomes the Master" for Asmodian players.
Mentor Madness
Empyrean Calling introduces the new mentor system to Aion. The purpose of the Mentor System is to unite high level players and low level players under a common goal. While being mentored, the mentee receives XP and unrestricted loot drops, while the mentor earns token rewards that can be used to purchase Fabled and Eternal equipment.
Mentor Madness introduces surveys linked to receiving and completing daily and weekly quests from the mentor system organizations. The Mentor Madness reward surveys will deliver additional organizational tokens.
The Mentor organizations for players level 40 to level 55 are: Orichalcum Key for Elyos players and The Circle for Asmodian Players. The Mentee organizations for players levels 10 to level 39 are: The Kaisinel Academy for Elyos players and The Marchutan Priory for Asmodian players.
