Character Lock Tutorial
We have added a new feature that allows you to safeguard your character from accidental deletion and access from unauthorized parties.
Upon logging into Grand Fantasia, you will see a new button on the character select screen that says, "Change Password". Clicking this will let you set a character password. All characters on your account will share this password.
On the next screen enter the password you would like to use. The character limit is six characters. You will be prompted to verify the password once more.
We HIGHLY recommend using the virtual keyboard to circumvent any key logging software that may have been surreptitiously installed on your computer.
Note: You may change your password by clicking on "Change Password" at any time. You will have to enter your current password before entering the new one.
[b][size=18]After verifying your password click "Ok". The resulting window will ask you if you want to activate the Character Lock password. Click "Ok".
You will be asked to enter your Character Lock password before being able to log into Grand Fantasia and before deleting your character.
If you do not enter your password within the time specified or enter the wrong password repeatedly, you will be disconnected from the server. The developers are aware of the issue where opening Grand Fantasia after this occurs, the user interface does not appear. Until it is fixed, please close and reopen your client and the interface will appear.
