Battle Mage and Druid Builds in Requiem

They are actually underpowered for several reasons: only 5 DNAs; no stuns; no crowd control; minimum range required to cast spells (you have to be 10 meters away from the target or you cant cast); long casting times on nukes and debuffs .
For Druids: can not use any of battle magician's skills while transformed; no AoEs; no crowd control. If you're new to the Requiem personally suggest playing another class first, because starting as a battle magician will be really frustrating. Druids at the moment currently play like underpowered Element lists. Ele however are extremely powerful in PvP. There are some good threads in the Requiem official forum about how to pick and choose your Battle Magician skills when building to become an Elementalist.
However, at this point in time you would recommend experimenting with skills for yourself. The Requiem community is very active but they do not seem to be as concerned with "min maxing" as other mmo communities, such as World of WarCraft where players take time and pride in finalizing and discovering the exact numbers and math used to calculate their builds and potential.
At some point soon, presumably within the next month or two, Requiem will be undergoing some major changes. Among these changes include many skills being completely removed from the classes while other skills are being changed in mechanics and/or moved to become exclusive to your final job class. Knowing this kind of major change is coming it would be reasonable to assume Gravity will provide players with one free skill reset to accommodate these major changes.
