After telling them about Incarna they are also looking into joining EVE and giving it a try.
People can complain about Incarna all they want, but I like Massively Multiplayer Online ROLEPLAYING games, and when I have tried trials in the past I just felt no connections to my character...I just felt like a space ship.
Now, with Incarna on the horizon I feel that a new layer will be added and I can feel a real connection with my character. Immersion is important to many people, so I can agree with CCPs decision to do this.
While in PvP I may be a min/maxer, I still feel roleplaying games need aspects of the game beyond just "pew-pew".
I have other friends that have tried EVE in the past and felt it was stale only seeing a ship. After telling them about Incarna they are also looking into joining EVE and giving it a try.
I do also agree with the people who want the chance to "turn it off" (i.e. hangar spinning).
Since there seems to be a 20 second session timer I wouldn't mind if they also added some optional cut scenes to fill in the gap instead of "just appearing" in the CQ instantly.
